The Mash Pit

The Mash Pit is a unique hybrid: a high-spec production facility and a warm neighborhood taproom. Located in the heart of Gräfekiez, this 250m² space is the only location in Berlin where hobbyists can brew on professional-grade equipment.

The design focuses on "Educational Transparency" — creating a layout that is functional for brewing while remaining inviting for casual drinkers.

The space features eight custom brew stations and two specialized cold rooms, all integrated into a design that celebrates the raw, industrial beauty of the brewing process.

From the ingredient-focused shop to the intimate tasting room, every square meter is designed to demystify the art of the brew and bring the community into the heart of the action.
