Chaparro
A Kreuzberg staple since 2010, Chaparro was designed to transport guests directly to the bustling markets of Mexico City. The heart of the design is the open kitchen, framed by industrial corrugated metal panels to evoke the iconic silhouette of a traditional street food cart.

The atmosphere is intentionally high-energy and unpretentious, utilizing a palette of vibrant plastic tarps, raw metal tabletops, and exposed hanging bulbs. To complete the market experience, custom metal grids, inspired by Mexican newsstands, serve as functional display boards for the menu and community news.

Chaparro Restaurant Furniture Plan
A speakeasy bar hides in the basement behind a cold room door. This additional bar is meant to invite guests for an after hours mezcal tasting as well as for private events.
