Mezcal San Cosme Stand at Bar Convent Berlin

2021
For the 2021 Bar Convent Berlin, the design for Mezcal San Cosme evolved into a more restrained and sober aesthetic. Moving away from bold architectural geometries, this pavilion anchors itself in the tactile beauty of traditional Mexican handcrafts. The space is defined by the soft, organic textures of hand-woven palm textiles and the earthy presence of clay sculptures, creating a serene, museum-like environment within the bustling trade fair.

This design prioritizes the "soul of the object," using a neutral palette to allow the artisanal details of the brand—and the spirit itself—to speak with quiet authority. It is an exploration of how traditional materials can be recontextualized into a modern, high-end hospitality setting.
