Mezcal San Cosme Stand at Bar Convent Berlin

For the 2018 edition of Bar Convent Berlin, I designed a pavilion that explores the intersection of traditional Mexican textile patterns and mid-century Modernist structures. The stand is defined by a large-scale celosia—a classic architectural latticework—that serves as a semi-permeable boundary. This design element allows the brand to maintain an intimate, exclusive atmosphere for tastings while remaining visually open and inviting to the thousands of trade fair visitors.

The repetitive, geometric rhythm of the timber structure provides a sophisticated backdrop for the brand's identity, proving that traditional craft motifs can be elevated into a contemporary, high-impact architectural statement.
