The Cavalier

Restaurant & Bar
The Cavalier was designed to feel as though it has been part of the Kreuzberg fabric for decades. Moving away from fleeting trends, the interior embraces a rich, "lived-in" palette of deep purple and forest green, balanced by the natural warmth of light oak. It is a space designed for the rhythm of the neighborhood: from quiet afternoons of soul food to vibrant, long nights at the bar.

The heart of the project is the towering bar back, which serves as a functional gallery. A classic library ladder provides access to the high shelves, which house a curated collection of sculptural art — pieces that reflect the spirit of the local community and the diverse team behind the bar. At The Cavalier, the design isn't just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a home for the regulars.
