For the world’s largest beverage trade fair, Bar Convent Berlin, I was commissioned to design a pavilion for a conglomerate of artisanal mezcal brands. The concept draws inspiration from the tienditas, traditional convenience stores found throughout rural Mexico. By translating the raw aesthetic of bright, green brick walls, hand-painted signage, and clay celosias (decorative screens) into a trade fair context, the stand creates a vibrant, nostalgic oasis amidst the industrial halls of the Messe Berlin.
